As much as I would want to update this blog, the lazy bug always give me a huge chew and hence all the delay in updates.

I and the hubby spent the last 17 days of 2009 in the land of our forefathers and it was great while it lasted. Though civilization still quite some way for the population but I am totally impressed on the overnight transformation of the cities.

We climbed the greatwall and imagined how the workers toiled to lay them brick by brick. We visit the forbidden city which took all of a day and we probably only covered 60% of it and not it entirely despite our earnest walking. We devour a whole peking duck and paid homage to it because it was the best we have ever eaten and at such a ridiculous price that would have not even bought us anything than duck wings in Singapore. We went like the locals to try and buy train tickets and was so thrilled when completed our itinenary as planned even though we reach Beijing with only a return flight from shanghai. And that my friend is just 2 day journey in Beijing alone!

Although the toilet was as disasterous as I have seen since I was a kiddo but I have half expected it. People still do not like to close the toilet doors for Gods know what reason when they are in the toilet and that will remain as that. You can lead a mule to the water but you cannot force it to drink it. How very true!

I will continue the post untils I complete the 17 days of the trip!

On a happier note or at least till we hear anything negative else about it, I am preggers! Today would mark the pregnancy along 6-7 weeks. Next week is the appointment and I am worried nuts that history would repeat itself. I still think of the twins daily and just hope the current bugger would stay with me. All in all its a made in China.. dont have such a nice ring to it but what the heck.. I love him or her all the same!

Hoping to be a real mum by September 2010.
